Tips For Your Producing Virtual Events

With event spacing being limited and limited travel capabilities, COVID-19 has shifted the way that entertainment is produced and the channels event producers are using. For your next virtual concert, interview, conference, etc., here are a few tips:

  1. Before you “go live” or pre-record your program please test out your technology before shooting. Check that the lighting, sound, and methods you are using are of good quality that can keep your audience in the moment with your program.

  2. Map out a schedule of programming. Especially for shows be sure to insert transition times for speaker, dj, or entertainer changes.

  3. Be sure to have engagement with your fans before, during and post your live even. A “thank you for tuning in” allows a touch point with your customers and goes a long way.
